5Design, Inc., founded in 1996, is a full service site planning, landscape architecture and environmental arts firm specializing in the detailed planning and design of exterior environments. Spencer J Nickel, RLA, holds over thirty years of project management and design experience in landscape architecture, planning and urban design. He was previously the Design Director of one of Denver’s leading landscape architecture and planning firms. Prior to that, Spencer was the director of landscape architecture for one of Denver’s largest architecture firms. Mr. Nickel has focused on campus, site design and project identity development throughout his career.
Mr. Nickel’s background includes extensive detailed design and project management experience in communities throughout the western United States. Also an accomplished illustrator, Spencer’s work has been recognized by the American Society of Landscape Architects, Colorado Chapter, as well as the Society of Illustrators of Los Angeles.
